Today, all of you, as part of our Class of 2026, close a chapter in your academic journey. You are celebrating a beautiful milestone, and we could not be prouder. We have seen you grow and achieve great things. We have taught, guided, and encouraged you. We’ve witnessed you become the amazing Warriors you are today. Today is a day of mixed emotions, as we say goodbye to a great class. We are happy for you and all your accomplishments, but we are also a little bit sad to see you go. Above all, we are proud and hopeful for the great things you’ll experience in the next chapter of your lives.
Each of you is equipped to thrive in this world and honor God with your lives and your future endeavors. We wish you only the best, and we encourage you to appreciate every opportunity and treasure every moment that comes next. Remember all you’ve learned and let your actions and your testimony speak about your love for God and your determination to bless others with your talents. We wish you a bright future in which God’s will for your life becomes a reality and your desire to serve Him never subsides.
Don’t forget that graduation is a beautiful milestone, but it’s also the start of a new chapter filled with change, responsibility, and growth. There are important truths and values you should carry with you, so you stay grounded, confident, and focused on who you’re becoming, not just where you are going. Here are 7 Things you should not forget once hey you graduate:
1. You are still learning; graduation is not the end of growth. Life will continue to teach you lessons in new and unexpected ways, and that is part of the journey.
2. Your character matters more than your achievements. Titles and accomplishments will change, but kindness, integrity, and respect will follow you everywhere you go.
3. It is okay not to have everything figured out. Uncertainty is normal; many paths are discovered step by step, not necessarily planned perfectly from the beginning.
4. Never forget the teachers, family members, and friends who poured into you along the way. Gratitude keeps you grounded.
5. Hard work still matters. Success is built on consistency, discipline, and effort, not shortcuts or comparison to others.
6. Your choices shape your future. Every decision, big or small, contributes to the direction of your life. Choose with intention, not pressure.
7. Faith, values, and purpose will guide you. When things feel overwhelming or unclear, return to what you believe, what you value, and what gives your life meaning.
Graduation is not just about leaving a school behind; it is about carrying forward everything that shaped you. Once a Warrior, always a Warrior! As VPS seniors, remember who you are, where you come from, and the values that will continue to guide you into the future God has planned for you. May God bless you, guide you, and protect each of you in your next chapter.
