Have you ever reflected on the challenges you have overcome to reach your current position? Your journey shows strength and resilience. Success comes from walking by faith, persevering through challenges, and trusting His plan. Without His mercy, you would have hung up your gloves long ago. Take a few moments to reflect on how many times His grace and mercy have saved you. Consider the difference between the times you walked by faith and the moments when fear and anxiety took over because you focused on what you saw, concentrating on the problem instead of God. There is a significant difference. But how do we strengthen our faith? Here are some tips:
Â
Engaging in Regular Prayer:Â Set aside time daily to communicate with God. Prayer deepens your relationship with Him and allows you to express your thoughts, fears, and gratitude.
Reading the Scripture: Dive into the Bible to understand God’s word and promises. Reflecting on scripture can provide encouragement, wisdom, and guidance daily.
Joining a Faith Community:Â Surround yourself with fellow believers who can support, encourage, and hold you accountable in your faith journey. Participating in a church or small group can foster meaningful relationships and spiritual growth.
Serving Others: Look for opportunities to help those in need. Serving reflects God’s love and strengthens your faith as you witness the impact of your actions and experience the joy of giving.
Practicing Gratitude: Take time to acknowledge and thank God for the blessings in your life. Gratitude shifts your focus from challenges to the goodness of God, reinforcing your faith.
Reflecting on God’s Faithfulness: Take time to recall experiences where you have seen God’s hand. Documenting these moments can remind you of His faithfulness during challenging times and strengthen your trust in Him moving forward.Â

I understand that walking by faith is not easy. It is easy to have faith when things are perfect, but we struggle when all we see are problems and trials. Fatigue might make us feel like giving up, but His mercy is always so great that it keeps us going. It encourages us to continue. I acknowledge that there will be days when you feel so drained that you can only crawl, forcing yourself to believe. There will be days when you question Him and wonder why things are happening. But you know what? Questioning does not diminish us. Even Jesus prayed and cried to God to allow Him to pass the cup, but the key was that He said, "Then, saith he unto them, my soul is exceeding sorrowful, even unto death: tarry ye here and watch with me. And he went a little farther, fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless, not as I will, but as thou wilt. He went away again the second time and prayed, saying, O my Father, if this cup may not pass away from me, except I drink it, thy will be done." -Matthew 26:38,39,42. Jesus looked past His problems and submitted to His Father's will. We must do the same and submit to God's will.
Walking in faith embodies sacrifice, obedience, and trust. It calls us to embrace actions that may seem unconventional, yet in God's eyes, it is a powerful expression of confidence. We should eagerly invite God to fulfill His will above our own, as this reflects total surrender to Him. By holding onto the promises God has given us, we can continue our journey with faith, assured that He will fulfill His promises, regardless of what we face. "God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? Or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good? Behold, I have received commandment to bless, and he hath blessed, and I cannot reverse it." Numbers 23;19-20

We must obey, trust, and, above all, believe! We should face everything with the certainty that He is by our side and is more powerful than any circumstance. We need to believe in God's Word in Romans 8:28, "And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose." The problem lies in our inclination to believe that what we want is always better, but God's will is always greater than anything we might ask for. When we try to maintain control over everything, we lose sight of the truth: God always desires what is best for us, and we must trust that He is in control. If you take an honest look back at the times you tried to impose your own will and acted without seeking guidance from God, you will notice a pattern. Each time you attempted to do things your way, the path toward your desires became more challenging, and what you could have achieved quickly took more time.

We should trust God’s will, act in faith, and rely on Him. Trusting in Him does not mean we sit back and do nothing; instead, it means we continue moving forward. Instead of relying solely on what we see, we walk by faith. This week, I invite you to look at things differently. See beyond your problems and cast your cares on the One who gave His life for you. Trust His will and keep moving forward with faith. Embracing faith is about shifting our perspective, recognizing that our challenges are not the end but growth opportunities, and acquiring complete dependence on Him. Let us look beyond our immediate problems, lay our burdens at His feet, and commit to moving forward with faith, knowing that we are never alone in our journey.
